Zeal Zone Rice Krispie Treats

                                                      Marshmallow Krisps

Today my group made Rice krispies.

Mrs Tele'a went too countdown in the morning and got these ingredients for these prices.

Ma Baker Pink and White mini marshmallows 150g - $2
Homebrand Rice pops 300g - $3
Sunrise Margarine 500g - $2

This is the method we used.

6 cups of Rice pops
1/4 cup of butter
4 cups of mini marshmallows

Step 1. Melt your butter in a big saucepan over a low heat.
Step 2 When the butter is fully melted you can tip your mini marshmallows  and stir so that the marshmallows don't get stuck on the bottom
Step 3 After the marshmallows are smooth take the pan of the heat and then put your rice pops in and fold the two together. Then put it in a tray.
Step 4 Get a piece of non stick grease paper and push down on it.
Step 5 Leave the tray somewhere too cool. Once cooled cut into squares.

Zeal Zone Come Let's _______

Today we went to the hall with Mrs Tele'a and we did our Zeal Zone.  Last week we made healthy wraps. We put carrots, cheese, hummus, ham and lettuce. Mrs Tele'a was talking about healthy food and that we should eat heaps of veges and fruit daily.

Hi my name is Paige and I am a year 8 at Point England School. I am 12 years of age. I am in Room 3 with the wonderful Mrs Tele’a as my teacher. I am the 3rd oldest out of 5 other siblings. My favourite subject at school is Reading. Reading is my favourite subject because it can take you to fascinating places. One of of my favourite series of books are Geronimo Stilton books. In my spare time I enjoy sitting outside in the shade with an exciting book. This year I plan to trying out for at least two sports which are Netball and Volleyball.  Well this is a little bit about me and I hope you enjoy my blog.
